A very unique concept for an asian sandwich bar. Great for lunch! Lives up to the hype! We parked at the Dynamic Earth underground car park, eat lunch, and explored Edinburgh. See our full video review on our experience under The Olive Tree Family on all social media platforms.

Such a great place! We were relieved to find there after eating unhealthy food for couple of days. We got tuna ricewich and kimchi, tuna and seaweed tofu pockets. The taste was amazing and very light on stomach. The peach fizz was a bit sweet for us but went great with the food. And all that for a very affordable price. We left the place wishing to come back again!

Food was good and hit the spot! The menu has everything you could want - from onigiris to sandwiches to rice bowls. We got the tempura prawn toast, the Asian rice bowl (with spam and eggs), and the Korean beef ricewich - total bill came up to 26.30. The rice bowl was probably my favourite (even if the ingredients are so basic). Only negative thing for me was the strong grease smell in the restaurant that would stay on your clothes. We were fortunate that our apartment was close by so we just got takeaway and ate in our apartment.

Absolutely fantastic!! Great wee self-service tablet things to place your order, the food was so good I got the same thing two nights in a row — the tempura prawn rice-wich — with Biscoff toast one night and salted caramel blondie cheesecake the next I'll definitely be back Edit: Well true to my word I came back, actually travelled from Glasgow just to come here for lunch and to see the Surgeon's Hall Museum, and again the food was lovely, service was quick, and I cannot recommend it highly enough

This is the review from Glasgow (Kept the prawn tails as I requested to take photos, normally they don’t have it when served ) The toast tastes soooooooo good! And the sauce the matcha drink is so good too, they serve it in a small plastic bag which reminds me the feel of local Taiwanese serving the drink authentic Asian fusion style

The food is absolutely wonderful. Don't expect to get it quickly, because they do take meticulous effort with each and every order they get. It's a very small shop run by a small but super friendly team. The only downside is how small the shop is, with various tables crammed inside, and no places to wait around for a seat. Even so, it's absolutely worth it, and not a one and done deal either; I'll absolutely be bringing other friends to come by and try out the food!

Whilst I was Edinburgh I visited this spot for breakfast. It definitely lived up to its reputation. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was quick, and I love how they had student discounts. I had gotten the prawn tempura sandwich and the flavours were devine. However, I did feel like the bread was a little sweet for my liking. Despite the place being small and the food being messy that's all part of the experience.
